Na onze ontmoeting tijdens een yoga-retraite in Italië, nodigde Yasmine Beydoun mij uit voor een branding- en familie shoot in Lissabon. Een geweldige, internationale fotoshoot-ervaring.
We hoopten op een zonsondergang tijdens het gouden uur aan de Costa Caparica, maar kregen iets wat we niet konden plannen: de magische kleuren van de Portugese kust. Het zand, de lucht en het water vormden de inspiratie voor zowel de branding als de website. Een mooi voorbeeld van hoe de mooiste ideeën vaak spontaan ontstaan. Ik geloof in deze manier van werken die het proces van (samen) creëeren juist extra bijzonder maakt.

The level of professionalism and passion Dorien brings to her work is truly exceptional. Her creativity, and her ability to work intuitively with what’s unfolding in the moment, was amazing to witness.
What I appreciated most was her deep respect for the integrity of the work, across every layer like marketing, photoshoot, brand details, website design, and all the inevitable challenges along the way. She works with professionalism, integrity, immense creativity, and a sharp eye for detail, while effortlessly bringing out a client’s hidden gems.
Creating a website is, in many ways, like entering a client’s unconscious to surface what they truly want to express and Dorien does this masterfully. I would recommend her without hesitation and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Our photo shoot was originally planned around the golden hour, yet the location itself ended up becoming the inspiration for the brand book colors — a perfect example of how Dorien allows the process to guide the outcome rather than forcing an idea.
